Jack is CLP's founder and currently serves as our managing partner. Before founding Cleantech Law Partners, Jack held a variety of legal, policy and business positions in the US and abroad, including: environmental litigation lawyer for a Boston law firm, consultant for a venture capital fund that focuses on early-stage renewable energy and cleantech companies, policy analyst for the Israel Ministry of Environmental Protection, and as a legal fellow for the United Nations Environment Program in Geneva.
For several years, Jack taught a graduate-level course in comparative environmental law and renewable energy policy.
He holds an LL.M. degree in environmental law & natural resources policy from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College, a J.D. degree with a concentration in environmental law from Vermont Law School, and a B.A. degree in environmental analysis & planning from Frostburg State University.
