The Philippines is reinforcing its commitment to renewable energy as outlined in the Philippine Energy Plan 2023-2050, according to industry leaders who convened at the PhilEnergy Expo 2025. The forum, held from March 19 to 21 at the SMX Convention Center, gathered key stakeholders to discuss the country’s energy transition and latest technological advancements. and highlighted the government’s ambitious targets, stating that renewable energy is expected to account for 35% of the country’s energy generation mix by 2030 and exceed 50% by 2040.
