Experience
Alex has a special interest in green tax law and intellectual property rights of cleantech companies.
Prior to joining Cleantech Law Partners, Alex worked with a leading intellectual property firm in the SF Bay Area. In law school, he focused on environmental law and intellectual property rights, and was a Casenote and Comment Editor for the Colorado University Law Review.
In this capacity, Alex authored two law review articles that focused on natural resource issues, including Why We Need a Carbon Tax, which presents a detailed policy argument for employing a carbon tax to develop renewable technologies as a market-based solution to the looming energy and environmental crisis.
Alex holds a J.D. degree from Colorado University School of Law, and a B.A. from Amherst College where he graduated magna cum laude. Alex is a member of the California State Bar.
