Mayur Subbarao is an attorney with over 16 years’ experience advising clients in the renewables and cleantech sectors, both as outside counsel and in house. As an attorney at Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., he advised developers and large utilities on projects ranging from solar to wind to battery energy storage. He subsequently held senior counsel and general counsel in-house roles at Sustainable Profitability Group, a financial and legal services advising independent power producers, developers, and cleantech investors, and at D.E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI), where he acted as lead counsel on nearly 2 GW of greenfield projects and acquisitions. Mr. Subbarao’s main area of practice lies in project finance, tax equity, and services agreements.
