Experience
Mark has held a variety of legal and business positions, including 10 years with Wall Street law firms in New York, London and San Francisco with a focus on corporate finance, securities and corporate law, five years as chief carbon officer and general counsel of a publically-traded biogas project development company, and four years with a London-based renewable energy and carbon credit project developer.
Mark has extensive experience in business development in the renewable energy and carbon credit sectors. He has sourced over U.S. $100,000,000 in renewable energy, industrial gas and carbon credit projects and managed many complex aspects of their commercial implementation and legal architecture.
Mark is legal counsel for a number of renewable energy project developers and investors, nanotechnology companies and clean tech entrepreneurs.
He is a graduate of Duke University and Brooklyn Law School. Mark is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and speaks fluent Russian.
