New York: CLP attorney, Jon Norling gave a presentation on the State and Federal regulations applicable to renewable energy resources and distributed generation during an event organized by the NY Bar Association. The program brought together experts to discuss federal and New York State energy regulation, relevant energy and environmental regulatory requirements, and exemptions from regulation that renewable energy and distributed generation resources typically enjoy. Mr. Norling offered perspectives on pending legislation and regulations that are likely to affect the renewable industry in the future, and led participants through the steps of putting a renewable energy deal together.
