Jordan’s minister of energy and mineral resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, is committed to raising the amount of renewable energy generated in the country. Jordan aims to integrate more renewable energy into the grid. This involves increasing the contribution of renewable energy to 50 percent of electricity generation by 2030 and raising its contribution to the overall energy mix.
