New Renewable Energy Law in Indonesia


The Indonesian government has recently approved a new law aimed at boosting the country’s renewable energy sector. The law, signed by President Jokowi, aims to reduce Indonesia‘s dependence on oil and coal by promoting the development and use of clean energy sources.

Under the law, the government will provide incentives and subsidies to encourage the development of renewable energy projects. 

The new law is expected to address these issues by streamlining the licensing process, improving access to financing, and offering attractive incentives for investors. It also aims to create a more favorable business environment for renewable energy projects.
